In case an applicant is asked by the system for an interview; he will then be requested to visit the facilitation center at the High Commission Canberra.
Machine Readable Passport System is replacing the existing manual passport system. As per the new policy, in line with international requirements, every citizen of Pakistan shall hold Machine Readable Passport (MRP) for travelling abroad before November 2015.
Machine Readable Passport (MRP) is issued for a period of Five (05) or Ten (10) years (as per applicant's choice: See Fee Table). Under 15 years of age children are not entitled for 10 years passport validity.
After applying MRP, You can track your MRP application, by sending your CNIC/NICOP # at above mentioned relevant email (from where you process your MRP application), in case you did not receive your passport within given time frame.
